Covid-19 Practice update – We remain Open
(updated: 18.10.20)
Update on increased recent restrictions: – we remain OPEN
In response to the Government’s increase in restrictions due to the pandemic, we would like to reassure patients that we continue to remain open to provide care. We continue to adhere to HPSC’s most up to date recommendations regarding providing dental treatment during the pandemic and have ensured all guidance issued on 09.10.2020 is followed. Our Covid-19 protocols regarding attendance at the practice remain the same.
As per the current guidelines set out by the National Public Health Emergency Team, we have a policy of social distancing to safeguard our patients on their attendance. Please wear a mask. You will be contacted by phone or email 2 days before your appointment by our reception staff. The purpose of this call/email will be to ask some screening questions prior to attending our practice. It is important that we have your response to these questions by phone or email at least 48 hours before your attendance.
On the day of your appointment:
- We ask that you attend your appointment on your own, where possible. Please wear a face covering. Other family members are encouraged to remain at home, or wait for you in your vehicle or elsewhere. When you arrive at the practice, we ask that you check in at reception as normal.
- You will have your temperature taken by our staff with a non-touch thermometer and you will be asked some screening questions again.
- You will then have the option of waiting in our waiting room (which observes social distancing guidelines), or in your own car until called by our reception team. If you are waiting in your car please ensure that your mobile phone is switched on.
We do ask if you are unwell that you let us know as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to accommodate you on a future session without delay. Our priority is to safeguard all of our patients and staff. We look forward to seeing you soon.
